Jasper Marine Boats

My freelancer career launched in 2016, right around the same time that Jasper Marine was founded. From the get-go our businesses have been able to collaborate in a mutually beneficial manner, one that has helped to propel both in finding success. Despite our working relationship being as old as our businesses, our personal relationship goes much further still…Jasper, is in fact, my brother. With this in mind feel free to take his testimonial below with a grain of salt! Having said that, despite the inherent bias, the numbers don’t lie; the media we’ve created together has accomplished massive viewership and has been a great example in showcasing the positive impact that can come with sharing high quality media with consistency and intent.

Back in 2017 I started to run the Jasper Marine Instagram account, which had fewer than 100 followers at the time. As expected, growth started slowly, but through consistent posting, strong visuals, targeted content strategies—and, of course, standout boat designs—the brand has seen significant success in its online marketing. The Instagram account now sits at over 140,000 followers (and counting), with another 86,000+ on Facebook. My imagery and social content strategies have helped this local BC boat builder reach a global audience, with the majority of posts now tallying hundreds of thousands of views. One clip we shared in 2025 garnered over 11,000,000 views on it’s own, with a combined watch time of well over a year! To put this into perspective the largest NFL stadiums hold around 80,000 people, meaning that single piece of content reached the equivalent audience of roughly 140 sold-out games.

One of they key traits we try to capture in our marketing material is the lifestyle and experiences that become possible through ownership of this type of boat. It’s not so much about capturing the boat itself, but rather the feeling of having one. Waldman Media sang praises for Jasper Marine’s content strategy, calling it “a master-class in how to win in boating in 2025”.

Of course, none of this would be possible if I weren’t shooting such beautifully designed and meticulously crafted boats, which on their own resonate with a massive audience. Nonetheless, having these vessels showcased with the same passion, attention to detail, and pursuit of perfection has undoubtedly helped to communicate the no-compromise product and brand values of Jasper Marine Boats.
